Why I love this Wine
On the nose, aromas explode in pumice stone, mint, citrus zest, and gunflint, followed by a palate that is tensioned yet enveloping, layered with fine tannins and volcanic minerality. Although very discreet in its early years, this racy, straightforward and powerful wine has a pleasant tannic structure and, with its unique pebble notes, reflects the minerality of its exceptional terroir. It is powerful, yet superbly balanced. Its saline minerality and razor-sharp acidity amplify briny freshness, so partner it with oysters with lemon zest for an elegant match.
