Franck Pascal’s Quinte Essence 2010 is a biodynamic Extra‑Brut Champagne born from vineyards on chalky soils in the Vallée de la Marne. A blend of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay (with possible traces of Pinot Noir), it is fermented naturally without fining or filtration and then matures on lees for around 4 years in tank, followed by over a decade in bottle. The wine pours a crystalline pale gold with discreet bubbles, offering a fragrant nose of yellow orchard fruit (pear, mirabelle), honeyed blossoms (acacia, chamomile), and delicate biscuit notes. The palate is powerful and vinous, yet fresh and lively, with a minerally spine and taut structure. Elegant and profound, it’s long and refined; designed for gastronomic pairings like roasted poultry, refined seafood, or soft cheeses.
Grape variety : Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay
