Domaine Gauby’s “Les Calcinaires” 2022 is a sun-kissed and expressive red wine from the Côtes Catalanes, made from Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan grown on stony schist and limestone soils in Calce. This gourmet cuvée opens with a clean, juicy attack of black fruits and sweet spices. The palate is full of Mediterranean character (floral, silky, and vibrant) lifted by a touch of minerality and a mouthwatering saline finish. It’s pure, fresh, and so drinkable you'll want another glass. A charming, organically grown wine that balances Southern warmth with cool energy. Best paired with pork rib.
