With origins tracing back to 936 and royal acclaim under Louis XIV (who awarded it the Blason Viticole in 1696) Roc d’Anglade carries a legacy of excellence. Today, its red wines are aged for 16 months on lees in large foudres, gaining balance and freshness. Bottled without fining or filtering, the wine reveals expressive aromas of black fruits, spices, and garrigue. Pairs well with rib steak.
Grape variety : Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan
