Crafted from a blend of Tannat and Cabernet Franc, this 2019 Château Montus matures on steep, pebble-strewn clay slopes in Madiran. Its complex nose offers dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, graphite, balsamic spice, and a cool menthol lift. The palate is rounded and polished, with silky melted tannins, firm structure, fresh acidity, and generous dark fruit framed by subtle oak.
