Domaine Rapet’s 2022 Pernand‑Vergelesses 1er Cru “Les Vergelesses” is a beautifully poised Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, grown on iron-rich clay-limestone slopes. Offering a bright ruby hue, it unveils refined scents of cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, and peony, lifted by spice and gentle oak. The palate is structured and velvety, with crisp, balanced acidity and fine tannins framing red fruit, underlying licorice, earthy notes, and a subtle mineral finish. It pairs wonderfully with roast veal, lamb, rich poultry dishes, or a selection of soft, aged cheeses.
