Château Mazeyres 2016 is celebrated for its elegance and finesse. It shows a radiant purple-ruby hue, and on the nose, a refined bouquet of violet, lilac, blackcurrant, blueberry, and subtle spice, with a soft overlay of toasted oak and tobacco. The palate is supple and medium‑full-bodied, with caressing attack, bright acidity, fine-grained, velvety tannins, and a luscious core of dark berries intermixed with woody, spicy, and empyreumatic nuances. The finish is long and refined, offering notes of toasted almond and delicate mineral lift. Pairing with duck breast.
