Why I love this Wine
Born from a fortuitous cycling meeting between Rhône vigneron Alain Graillot and Moroccan oenologist Jacques Poulain, Tandem 2021 is a Syrah crafted on the Zenata plateau of Meknès. Deeply coloured and aged in both stainless steel and 60% French oak, it unfolds generous aromas of blackberry, black pepper, and violet, with hints of olive stone and spice. On the palate, the wine is supple and juicy (rich yet elegant) with fine tannins, a supple, fresh finish, and a touch of dark chocolate. This Moroccan Syrah (lively, fruity, and spiced) pairs beautifully with spiced lamb couscous.
